A delegation of the African’s Green Store Network (AGSN), represented by the Centre Polyvalent de Formation de Mbouo (CPF) and the Practical School of Agriculture of Binguela (EPAB), led by its President Mr. SAYOUBA Djiela Jean Pierre, was received in audience by the Secretary-General of the Economic and Social Council (C.E.S) of Cameroon.

The purpose of the visit was to seek strategic orientation for the integration of AGSN into the Pan-African Union of Economic and Social Councils of Africa (UCESA), with a focus on advancing the development of the carbon market and the promotion of agroecology in Africa. This meeting marks an important milestone in AGSN’s integration process into the Pan-African UCESA network and paves the way for strengthened collaboration between the C.E.S of Cameroon and AGSN.

Key Highlights
- The Secretary-General of the CES warmly welcomed the delegation, expressed support for the initiative, and pledged the Council’s commitment to back AGSN’s sovereign actions, particularly in the development of agroecology.
- Agreement to establish a project development committee and define agroecological themes for collaboration between AGSN and the C.E.S.
- Appointment of Mrs. MBAKOP Déborah, an official of the C.E.S of Cameroon, as focal point to ensure effective monitoring of AGSN’s activities.
