From April 29 to May 2, 2025, Tunisia hosted the continental conference AGSN โ€“ African Green Store Network, across the regions of Thibar and Takelsa.


Over 4 days, more than 50 participants from 13 African countries came together to share, explore, and co-design a bold vision:


An agroecological transition led by vocational training, youth, women, and local territories.

DAY 1

AGSN CONFERENCE

AGSN CONFERENCE

A powerful closing at the Agricultural Vocational Training Center of Takelsa โ€“ CFPA, the first center in Tunisia to integrate formal beekeeping training ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒฟ


๐Ÿ‘‰ Highlights of the day:


๐Ÿ”ธ Official welcome with speeches by the AGSN president and the center director

๐Ÿ”ธ Exploration of a pilot center combining territorial anchoring, technical specialization, and pedagogical innovation

๐Ÿ”ธ Field demonstrations in hive product workshops: honey extraction, wax, pollen, royal jelly, venom, and queen rearing

๐Ÿ”ธ Learner exhibition showcasing local apicultural products and an innovative hive prototype designed by a graduate

๐Ÿ”ธ Closing plenary with a formal proposal for CFPA Takelsa to join the AGSN network, followed by a symbolic gesture: gifting jars of honey and pollen to all delegations


โœจ A final day that embodied the spirit of the AGSN network: local transformation, practical learning, and South-South collaboration.
